ParcelPedia is a unique concept. We are unique in that we offer more services and convenience than a traditional "pack & mail" store. In addition to the traditional mailing and shipping services, we offer our customers graphic design services, large format printing, and a convenience factor our customer won't find anywhere else: The first drive through mailing and shipping center in America! Perfect for moms on the go or busy professionals.
Flexibility with the franchise concept. At ParcelPedia we believe that every store can be the same, yet "different" based on the individual wishes of the franchisee and the locale of the business. Every ParcelPedia store will offer a core mix of products including Fed Ex, DHL, and USPS services, copy and print services, signs and banners, etc. However, every market is as unique as its customer base. ParcelPedia offers you the flexibility to add additional product lines and services. What does this mean to you? It means that you are empowered to run your business and pursue other potential avenues of income.
Flexibility when opening your store. Each franchise owner has a different budget. What one person feels comfortable investing in their first ParcelPedia store will more than likely be different than what another person is comfortable spending. Our franchise concept allows for different levels. We have a complete turn-key program where we oversee the set-up, build out, etc of your store and a program where we give you the specifications and architectural drawings so you can either do it yourself, enlist the help of friends or family with the appropriate experience or hire your own contractor to open your store less expensively.
Our vendor relationships help increase your profits. To offer our customers signs, banners, and graphic design services such as business cards, flyers, and other promotional materials, you can either purchase the printing equipment yourself or you can outsource to our vendors. In fact, we recommend that our new owners don't invest in lot of costly printing equipment. Why? It's simple. We want to give you and your store the best opportunity for success that we can. Spending 100k on printing equipment before you have a steady income stream and loyal customers is putting the cart before the horse in our opinion. We recommend you take advantage of our vendors, offer printing services at a fair value to your customers and, if after a few years in business it makes financial sense for your location to invest in your own equipment, then go for it. We will even help you alter the space plan of your backroom to allow for the new equipment.
